This was a pretty exciting challenge to do. I started off with plain ivory, green and kraft cardstock. Then out came a variety of Tattered Angels Glimmer mists, distress ink and some stamps. Presto my own home made DP's.
My paper had an old vintage feel to it so I distressed just about anything I got my hands on. I even colored my bias binding and lace with the Glimmer Mist. Perfect match!!! In case you haven't noticed this is a book card that I constructed with watercolor paper.
I searched through my stash of stamps and came across this "Dreamer" and that's what I named my book. Easy Peasy!!
I went outside and took a bunch of photos and I had to narrow my list down so here is one more.
This is the back of my book. My pine tree made a great back drop.
Here's my recipe:
Stamps: Magnolia Tilda w/floating hearts, Tilda w/ winter flowers and Tattered Angels flowering Vine Clear stamps
Die cuts: Spellbinders Floral Ovals, TH Hardware Findings
Punches: MS Eyelet Lace, 5 leaf Branch, Fiskars Broken Squares
Embellishments: Ranger Distress Crackle Paint, Embossing Antiquities Rust, Viva Decor Pearl pen,
Recollections flowers,
I sewed all of my layers together on my sewing machine
