Wowzers I've been pretty busy this month. Between birthdays, baby shower, Inventory Challenge and my guest position, my craftroom has been a very productive place. My youngest son's birthday was Friday and we enjoyed a family luncheon. Hard to believe that he's 31 already. I wanted to make him a special card and not one that I usually do. I give credit for a fabulous tutorial HERE for a jacket card and BINGO. Perfect for him because he has to dress in a suit pretty often for his job. I love to experiment with different styles so this was another fun card to create.
I used a Magnolia stamp named Cool Edwin, textured CS and DP's (7 Gypsies Venise), Cuttlebug Allegro Embossing folder, Distress inks, twine, Copics, Clear velcro and Perfect Layers Rulers, Glossy accents & ribbon.
Now My Inventory Challenge #73 You're in shape: Anything but a square or rectangle And also another card for StampingScrappingChallengeCentral as a guest spotlight designer. Pastels/Easter is their theme.
Here are several views of my card that is loaded with texture and sparkle!
I used my Cricut Damask Decor Cartridge to cut the card shape and the beautiful inside egg design. Stickles for sparkle and a Viva Decor pearl pen to add all of those pearls. A Cuttlebug Argyle Embossing folder for more texture.
Here's more of the recipe:
